Kaleido School of Spanish combines high-quality language teaching with a unique immersive experience in Almería, on Spain’s Mediterranean coast. Our experienced teaching team follows a communicative and student-centred approach, with small classes designed to encourage active participation and the practical use of Spanish from day one.
One of the distinctive features of Kaleido is that our classrooms and student accommodation are located in the same modern student residence. This creates a genuine learning community where students can study, live, share meals and socialise together, rather than being dispersed across different accommodation throughout the city.
Our classrooms are equipped for interactive and collaborative learning, and students also have access to a fully equipped gym, common areas, a library and study space, laundry facilities and a large multipurpose hall used for cultural activities, presentations and group events. Accommodation is available in single and twin rooms with private bathrooms, with full board included in our summer programs.
The school is ideally located approximately 5 minutes on foot from central Almería and 7 minutes from the beach. A supermarket is just 1 minute away, and several bus stops are located within a 2-minute walk, making it easy for students to explore the city and surrounding area.
In addition to our summer immersion programs, Kaleido School of Spanish offers tailor-made study trips for school and university groups at selected times throughout the year. These programs can combine Spanish classes, accommodation, full board, cultural activities and excursions, and can be adapted to each group’s academic objectives, length of stay and specific needs.
Whether joining one of our summer immersion programs or a tailor-made study trip, students experience much more than a traditional language course: they combine Spanish study with cultural activities, workshops and optional excursions, while becoming part of a community and experiencing everyday life in southern Spain.
