وصف المدرسة

تأسست المدرسة في عام 1978 وهي من الجيل الثاني، تديرها عائلة، مع التركيز على توفير دورات اللغة الإنجليزية عالية الجودة للبالغين والصغار في بيئة ترحيبية. يتم الجمع بين دورات اللغة الإنجليزية وبرنامج ترفيهي متنوع يركز على الجزيرة في محيط جيرسي الودي.

تم تصميم برامجنا لتشمل جميع جوانب الإقامة، بما في ذلك اختيار دورات اللغة الإنجليزية والإقامة والأنشطة ورفاهية الطلاب حتى يتمكن الطلاب من الشعور بالثقة والاستمتاع بوقتهم في جيرسي.

موقع المدرسة

تقع كلية سانت بريليد في جزيرة جيرسي المذهلة، بين جنوب إنجلترا وفرنسا. تتميز هذه الجزيرة الصغيرة بمناظر طبيعية جميلة، بما في ذلك الأميال من الشواطئ الرملية الذهبية والسواحل الصخرية والريف الخصب، بالإضافة إلى التاريخ الغني، الذي يُرى من القلاع ومواقع الدفن في العصر الحجري الحديث والقلاع النابليونية.

تقع مدرستنا على مدار السنة فوق قرية الميناء الساحرة ساينت أوبين، حيث يمكن للطلاب أيضًا العثور على سكن البالغين والمقاهي والمطاعم والحانات والمتاجر ووسائل الراحة الأساسية. تقع المدينة الرئيسية سانت هيلير على بعد 10 دقائق فقط بالسيارة حول الخليج.

"I enjoyed this experience"

My experience was positive. I was in a small group of five people. We did what we wanted to do, which was to talk a lot. Our teachers combined vocabulary and grammar with conversation.
I also liked the social program

"Very good experience at Jersey"

Classes and teacher were good because this year there was more work in groups, so it was less boring than last year.

The location was very good, but this year the teacher was stricter when we were late. My host mother, on the other hand, was reassuring.

Concerning the activities, there were a lot of choices and I was satisfied but I would prefer that there were more seats on the bus going to the site for the activities.

"It was very edifying and fun."

I stayed in very nice hotel. The environment of the school was fine. The teachers were friendly and committed. I particularly liked the lessons with Kirsti. She recognized my problems in listening in English and trained me very well. I wasn't able to take part in the activities because I was there with my dog. The quality of the CDs was sometimes poor. I liked the fact that the number of students in the group was low. Other than that, everything was good and I am considering returning next year.

Students can experience British life by staying with a local family for the duration of their course. They will generally share a room with a student of a different nationality, allowing them to practise their English, meet new people and find out about new cultures.

Three meals are included each day, along with transport to and from school each day and airport and harbour transfers.

Board: Full board, comprising breakfast, a packed lunch and an evening meal together

Rooms: Students usually share with students of a different nationality (max. 4 per household); juniors under 13 years must share with a friend or family member

Daily transport: School bus service or free public bus travel for teenagers in summer. In most cases students should expect to spend around 30 minutes on the bus, although in some cases the scheduled journey time may be up to 1 hour.

Transfers: Airport and harbour transfers included

Laundry & cleaning: Bed linen & bath towels provided, as well as weekly room cleaning. A light laundry service is provided once every two weeks.

A number of twin rooms are available for single parents sharing with one child and we offer a sea view suite which is suitable for couples with one younger child (under 14 years). The suite includes a bedroom, bathroom and separate lounge/kitchenette with temporary bed available.

Minimum age: 18 years (+ children accompanied by parent/s)

Board: Light continental breakfast (only in high season from 30th March - 2nd November)

Rooms: 11 en suite single, twin, double & treble rooms, some with sea views, 1 sea view suite with en suite facilities and a lounge/kitchenette

Residential accommodation is available for students wanting to stay with other students from a range of different countries.

Two student residences are available during the summer holidays; Beachside residence No.1 & No.2 which are located side-by-side. They are located within a short walk of the main town St Helier & the beach and are just 2km from the summer study centre.

They will be provided with full board and will share a room with one or two other people. Residence staff are available at all times at the residence. Transfers to and from the harbour or airport are included.

اذا كنت تدرس في المملكة المتحدة لمدة اكثر من 11 اشهر ستحصل على رقم يسمى رقم القبول لدراسة والذي تحتاجه لتقديمه لسفارة المملكة المتحدة مع باقي البيانات والاوراق الخاصة بالتاشيرة او الفيزا . الطلاب الذين نجحو بحجز دورة ودفعو مصاريف وتكاليف الدورة سيحصلو على شهادو القبول من المدرسة. ملاحطة ان القانون البريطاني لا يثبل بالاعتراف بورقة القبول هذه الا اذا كان الطالب قد تقدم لدراسة لمدة اكثر من 11 اشهر.

إذا كنت تدرس في المملكة المتحدة لمدة 11 أشهر أو أقل، يجب ان تتقدم بطلب للحصول على تأشيرة دخول الزائر الخاص المسماة تأشيرة الطالب الزائر. كطالب زائر ، فلن تكون قادر على العمل بدوام جزئي أثناء الدراسة. إذا كنت تخطط للدراسة في المملكة المتحدة لمدة 11 أشهر أو أقل، سيتم .إرسال خطاب قبول إلى عنوان المنزل الخاص بك عن طريق البريد العادي بدون اي رسوم إضافية منك.

تقع كلية سانت بريليد في جزيرة جيرسي المذهلة، بين جنوب إنجلترا وفرنسا. تتميز هذه الجزيرة الصغيرة بمناظر طبيعية جميلة، بما في ذلك الأميال من الشواطئ الرملية الذهبية والسواحل الصخرية والريف الخصب، بالإضافة إلى التاريخ الغني، الذي يُرى من القلاع ومواقع الدفن في العصر الحجري الحديث والقلاع النابليونية.

تقع مدرستنا على مدار السنة فوق قرية الميناء الساحرة ساينت أوبين، حيث يمكن للطلاب أيضًا العثور على سكن البالغين والمقاهي والمطاعم والحانات والمتاجر ووسائل الراحة الأساسية. تقع المدينة الرئيسية سانت هيلير على بعد 10 دقائق فقط بالسيارة حول الخليج.

Our intensive course runs 5 mornings from 09h00 -12h30 (break 10h30-11h00) and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday afternoons from 13h30 – 15h40 (with a 10 minute break) and Friday afternoons from 13h00- 14h30. The adults have an activity on Monday and Friday afternoons. Some information about the course content:
Our adult morning lessons (Standard Course) are structured lessons that follow a level-specific course book combined with a range of interactive supplementary materials, with the aim of improving grammar as well as the key skills of speaking, listening, reading, writing and pronunciation. Teachers negotiate weekly class content with students each week to determine what skill areas they wish to focus on, and use the feedback from this to help plan the week’s study. The Intensive course follows the same morning program but students will take part in afternoon conversation classes based around topical discussion. Focus is on improving fluency, as well as pronunciation, increasing vocabulary & error correction.
